Geneva, 9 October 2007: The main goal of the Summit is to help bring connectivity to Africa and promote "Connect Africa", a new partnership that seeks to expand the information and communication technology infrastructure of the continent, especially Internet broadband.

Level 421, with main offices in Germany, provides broadband IP services on more than 30 satellites worldwide. Level 421 provides IP, voice and broadband on-demand services via satellite for stationary, mobile, transportable and maritime solutions.

IP.SNG system is the latest development of the company; it completely replaces traditional SNG concepts. The system is capable of transmitting an upstream data rate of up to 8Mb/s and, as such, is capable of transmitting live HDTV via MPEG4.
